Airy jazz impro-jam. Three musicians meet in Geneva to create experimental jazz soundscapes. Four of these soundscapes are bundled on Do You Feel Lucky? for us to witness. The recording is executed excellently and bring you very close to the imaginary stage, where the piano/bass/drums trio do their
work. Two very different songs are presented below:
Aki’s Apple is a silent meditation for piano solo. A catchy bass tune is repeated all the time, while the higher notes are reserved for slow chord progressions and a slow melody. Dreamy.
Yap Yap is the opposite: all instruments are busy throughout the piece. Jazzy harmonies, layerd rythmns and smooth bass lines make this track one thing: Cool.
